Vas marcando las casillas del formulario de hacerse adulto conforme puedes (porque no queda otra), y cuando quieres darte cuenta, estás metido de lleno en una rutina gris, en la que cosas tan triviales como cenar una vez por semana en el Telepizza o en El molino suponen un tristísimo soplo de aire fresco.
Te veas identificado o no con lo descrito arriba, no te preocupes: siempre nos lo podemos tomar con humor. Ese es el punto de partida de Poquita fe (Montero y Maidagán, 2023), la última apuesta en comedia de Movistar+.

Poquita fe nos mete de lleno en la vida de Berta y José Ramón, una pareja que vive estancada en la más absoluta mediocridad emocional. En su primera temporada, hacemos de testigos de la vida de esta pareja a través de 12 episodios de entre 15 y 20 minutos llenos de todo lo mencionado anteriormente, pero también de muchas sorpresas con las que merece la pena encontrarse de primera mano. En esta crítica libre de spoilers te contamos por qué deberías darle una oportunidad a Poquita fe, si es que aún no lo has hecho.
Un formato fresco y ligero
Es habitual pasar por alto lo importante que es la presentación de una serie. Acostumbrados a decenas de ficciones con un aspecto formal tan similar (tan “normal”), cruzarse con una serie que se atreve a darle un girito original al mockumentary siempre es bienvenido. Aunque Poquita fe funciona a la perfección por sus personajes memorables y su capacidad para zambullirnos en la vergüenza ajena, son su montaje y su sencilla pero efectiva puesta en escena lo que la hacen triunfar.
Con cualquier otra estética, Poquita fe correría el riesgo de escorar demasiado rápido hacia el drama en sus momentos más tensos, o perder la gravedad de los problemas de sus protagonistas entre todos los momentos de absurdo que plantea. Afortunadamente, el formato de la serie de Montero y Maidagán ofrece suficiente flexibilidad como para tener lo mejor de ambos mundos, y lo que es mejor: consigue hacerlo parecer fácil.
Poquita fe no necesita ser el formato más original ni reinventar la rueda para convertir las vidas de José Ramón y Berta en un espectáculo desternillante y ligero, que se abre camino hacia el corazón a través de gags memorables y personajes que quedarán para el recuerdo.

Cotidianidad y absurdo
Poquita fe deja claro desde el primer momento en qué clase de mundo viven estos personajes: todo está a mitad de camino entre lo deprimente y lo sensacional; entre lo mágico y lo cotidiano hasta el hastío.
Desde señores mayores varados en la calle que se convierten en aliados imprescindibles de los protagonistas hasta humedades de ultratumba, pasando por capturas de Google Maps con propiedades proféticas, existe un contraste magníficamente calibrado en su universo. Y lo que es mejor: esta especie de realismo mágico no interfiere con el aburrimiento y el sopor vital que padecen Berta y José Ramón, haciendo que todas las facetas de sus vidas sean especialmente magnéticas.
Poquita fe es una divertidísima comedia con trozos de vidas de lo más monótonas, que aún así consiguen resultar entretenidas. Si alguna serie actual es la idónea para disfrutar en ratos cortos, definitivamente es esta.
